Help Elect Pro-Pot Politicians in America

Dear NORML members and supporters,

Public opinion has seismically changed in past years in favor of more sensible marijuana policies. At long last, the minds of elected officials are also starting to change.

One of the best barometers of these changing political winds is the growing popularity NORML’s Political Action Committee (NORML PAC), as evidenced by the growing number of municipal, state and federal elected policymakers (and their challengers) seeking NORML funding for their election campaigns.

NORML PAC receives more requests for funding today than NORML has historically been able to provide. City council races in Denver, gubernatorial races across the country, Senate and House races in dozens of districts–and maybe more foretelling of the future for cannabis legalization, the 2016 presidential sweepstakes–all can be positively impacted by a healthy and robust NORML PAC.

That is why today I am asking you to please make a donation of $25 or more to the NORML PAC. Those who do will receive a unique and well-produced film documentary DVD entitled ‘Evergreen, the road to legalization in Washington State’. The DVD tracks the successful efforts of activists in WA who placed a cannabis legalization voter initiative on the 2012 ballot, changing the country’s course forever regarding it’s cannabis policies.

If you’re not already a member of NORML, the first $25 donated will be applied to an annual NORML membership (federal law requires that only members of NORML can participate in the organization’s PAC).

Help Elect Pro-Pot Politicians in AmericaIn a similar vein, if you’ve not already pre-registered, NORML is convening a Lobby Day Conference in Washington, D.C., May 20-21, where there will be lobbyist training sessions and a day lobbying both members of the Senate and House on Capitol Hill.

Thanks in advance for helping NORML PAC support the policymakers who are seeking to end cannabis prohibition and who need our help get elected and to stay elected.
