Male teens who experiment with cannabis before age 16, and have a high genetic risk for schizophrenia, show a different brain development trajectory than low risk peers who use cannabis.

Not sure of causality here, as correlation does not prove causality, but AuntieBS does not believe it is a good idea for teens– especially young teens– to be using any mind altering drugs, unless medical conditions dictate.
