No obvious flaws in this study from the ACC, a respectable organization, and their paper has reasonable disclaimer, further adding to validity.  The effect is there but may be sedentary, despite their efforts to rule out demographic factors.  For example, people who are stoned a lot might tend to eat more sweets, or may be more sedentary, than those who do not use cannabis.  But, this is definitely worth noting, following, and considering.
