Young people with chronic or severe forms of depression were at elevated risk for developing a problem with cannabis in later adolescence, found a study looking at the cumulative effects of depression in youth.

YAY!  They got the causality right, for a change:  Depression in teens leads to subsequent cannabis abuse, not vice versa, as so many “studies” suggest.  This is refreshing.  How many other maladies, attributed to cannabis or other drugs, are the cause, not the result?
